The Best Free Online Math Solver

The best proof that math is not rocket science is the fact that even computers can be programed (or taught, in a sense) to solve a huge number of different types of math problems. There are many math solvers on the Internet today, and most of them are free math solvers. It is not that simple to choose the best one, and I actually believe that there’s no need for that in the first place. So, that is why I'm not going to even try and recommend any particular application. Rather, I would like to invite you to review that plethora of math solvers on the internet by running a Google, or any other browser search for queries such as: algebra solver, algebra calculator, math calculator... Each of the results has some advantages and disadvantages. I personally use a variety of free online algebra solvers for different purposes.

This is ideal for students of all ages because many of them show step-by-step how to solve the math problem. And it’s true - just the most crucial steps are shown; but most students will find these instructions or steps helpful enough and end up getting a free math course.
Teachers also find it convenient to use such online math solvers, even though they probably don’t care too much about the step-by-step process; thus they have a wider choice. I teach math and physics, and sometimes the students get different solutions and I can’t immediately notice who made the mistake and where. In addition to that, there’s also a possibility of having a wrong answer in the workbook where I got the assignment from, and then the situation becomes awkward when you need to react pretty fast. The best thing to do in situations like this is to use free math solvers which are going to help in identifying the wrong answer in a second. This actually saves a lot of time for both me and my students.
My recommendation is to carefully go through several algebra solvers and pick several personal favorites which you will use depending on what kind of math problem you want to solve.

Most of them offer everything you need:
·         Equation solving (from the simplest linear equations to the differential equations and systems)
·         Inequation solving
·         Function graph drawing (including the determination of all important properties of the function like extrema, monotone intervals, function limits and similar)
·         Integral solving (both definite and indefinite)
·         Matrix operations
·         Vector algebra
·         Trigonometry…

Some math solvers have excellent, intuitive user interface, which is quite straightforward. This is especially convenient for students because usually they don’t have much experience with using these applications. On the other hand, the more advanced users should try math calculators which don’t have an engaging and intuitive GUI, because if the developers had paid less attention to design, it’s more likely that they focused more on the functionality and usability of their software.

Generally speaking, the most reasonable thing to say would be that, like in any aspect of life, there is no best free online math solver. However, it’s worth devoting some time and try out what’s ‘on the menu’. Advise your colleagues, students and associates to save time and money by using their computers as a helper, even a teacher that will solve almost any math problem without a mistake, all while being a free learning tool and providing the detailed enough explanations.
